Rising Hegemon
I stayed up far too late last night, by my standards.
On the other hand, by tomorrow Joe Klein and Chris Matthews will be out of Des Moines!
Last night Champollion and I took Jane Hamsher, Jeralyn Merritt, and their friend Linda to dinner at a great restaurant on the east side, Lucca. It was lovely to see them -- them and their massive blog traffic. Of course, they actually do activist organization, journalistic work, and substantive analysis.
I do K-Lo photoshops.
And people dare to question my business plan!
Meanwhile, DeDurkheim is here too, so three of your four bloggers at this middling blog are in Des Moines at the same time.
That's one better than the attendance at "Yearly Attaturk".
