One More Deal for the Writers

The Weinstein Company -- I thought they were just brothers, oh well -- has reached an agreement with the Writer's Guild so that they could resume production.  This follow the deal that United Artists made with the Guild earlier this week.  And one made by Worldwide Pants -- gotta love Letterman's humor.

Since Writers make nothing.  Zip. Nada.  The big no.  Zero on Internet streaming and other forms of new distribution of content, shouldn't the television and other companies be less greedy and give the writer's a small portion of what they make...
