Dear Twentysomething Women,

Do you understand that, in our society, equality can only be achieved in a state of economic freedom?

Additionally, do you understand that, for women, economic freedom requires reproductive freedom?

Further, do you understand the reproductive freedom requires birth control?

No doubt you've heard (a) of the Bush administration's efforts to redefine birth control as abortion and (b) that highly influential segments of our society would like to see abortion go the way of the nickel subway ride?

Finally, do you understand that with birth control thus redefined, that the first case radical fundamentalist President Palin and her merry band of Pentecostalist pranksters will seek to overturn is a little number called Eisenstadt v. Baird?

If you haven't already read Eisenstadt, I suggest that you do so now.
