C'mon Catholic Church, you can be more hilariously outraged than this, talk to Bill Donahue or something!

The Vatican newspaper and radio station are criticizing James Cameron's 3-D blockbuster for flirting with the idea that worship of nature can replace religion – a notion the pope has warned against.

Yeah, it's 'Birth of a Nation' in 3D alright, it's sooooooooooo controversial -- the whole idea of alien power cords hooking up their AC cords is totally against the teachings of Jesus...or something.

It's a spectacular and silly movie -- how effin' dangerous. Other than creating another set of nerds at ComicCon (to battle the Star Wars/Star Trek/Lord of the Rings triumvirate) what is it really going to do?
