Jeez, the new WaPoS page header and logo looks as old as David Broder. Pure Transylvania gothic.
Of course, they may have changed the logo months ago. I don't read the WaPoS. I'm looking for facts.

Shit-heads like Broder have been granting credibility to the most mendacious elements of the GOP for years. He doesn't get to be surprised by their selfish behavior at this late date. He helped enable it.

There's another possibility here we're not considering. I read his column, and it seems quite reasonable to me. Maybe it's actually the same wingnuttery he's been producing for years, and we've finally all been assimilated by the hive-mind. I'm not brave enough to go back and read his old stuff just in case it now seems sensible. "Attack Iraq? Vote for Palin? Well said, sir!" I think I'm going to go home and go to bed.
