Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley issued a statement late Saturday saying that fellow Justice David Prosser choked her and disputing claims that she attacked him first.
"The facts are that I was demanding that he get out of my office and he put his hands around my neck in anger in a chokehold," she said. "Those are the facts and you can try to spin those facts and try to make it sound like I ran up to him and threw my neck into his hands, but that's only spin.
"Matters of abusive behavior in the workplace aren't resolved by competing press releases," she said.
"I'm confident the appropriate authorities will conduct a thorough investigation of this incident involving abusive behavior in the workplace."
That's obviously a criminal assault and Prosser has to go. You sir, are a full grown man resorting to a physical attack during a temper tantrum, that's enough -- that it is against a woman is just another additional helping of loathsome.

Given that there were witnesses and the police were called, why hasn't he been arrested? Oh, yeah IOKIYAR.
Well, assault and battery is not exactly "abusive behavior in the workplace."
It's well beyond that--it's a felony under Wisconsin law.
I hope this means Bradley is pressing charges.
Prosser, shite that he is, deserves some time behind bars.
Judge Dredd Prosser already has a concealed carry permit. On, Wisconsin.
This guy isn't fit to judge a pie-eating contest.
Mmmmmm, pie.
Isn't this the same asshole who got elected because some party flack found a bunch of votes in her computer?
They sure can pick 'em.
Good thing these guys are so incompetent because they'd be a whole lot more dangerous if they were.
Competent I mean.
watch Prosser become the victim. IOKIYAR. and that "vicious" unprincipled woman has to resign.
i'd be surprised otherwise
prosser got elected to that supreme court for another TEN years?
Can he serve time for TEN years for a & b, on his colleagues, AND draw his salary and give his verdicts on issues?
Or would that be an issue for the surpreme court to decide? Too bad judges aren't unionized. Unions have a better record on handling bad boys....

"watch Prosser become the victim."
Oh, hell, that was the first thing out of his mouth--he was defending himself.
"Girls are mean," he very much wanted to say....

It is, but I would bet that Judge Bradley was signaling that she takes violence in the workplace seriously, and that she's pursuing the remedies available to her as an employee of the court system and not just sweeping it under the rug. It's actually a pretty good thing for a judge to communicate to litigants in workplace assault and domestic violence cases, that there are remedies, and that they should be pursued regardless of how powerful the perp is.
Moreover, she probably can't really comment on the criminal case, since that will wind up in the court system and she won't want to influence it in any way. But as far as her administrative workplace remedies go, that's probably all handled through non-judicial channels.
the GOP's use of fiat and prosser's 'win' seems to have released prosser's bully instincts.
