A few hours ago they were reporting that he was going to resign, then retracted that. I expect this one to last about as long - it looks more like wishful thinking. No way Big Papi(c) can walk back the referendum now.
sigh. I get so frustrated reading the uninformed pieces written in North America about this issue. The Greeks faked there way into the EU with lies and the help of Goldmann Sachs. They spent themselves into bankrupcy. Now the Europeans are saying 'ok, we'll cut your debt by 50%, but here are the conditions' and this is in some way unfair to the Greeks? Most Europeans wouldn't be that sad to see them leave the union...
