And they go on to proclaim Obama has an ego...

Oy:
Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R), a Mitt Romney surrogate, said Sunday that the improving economic situation is thanks to Republican governors, not President Obama. "Look, I'm glad the economy is starting to recover but I think it's because of what Republican governors are doing in their states. Not because of the president," McDonnell said on CNN's State of the Union.

...and Tom Corbett, and Nikki Haley, and Rick Scott and, of course Rick Snyder of Michigan, and John Kasich of Ohio, all of them heroes of their state's economic "recovery".

And take away the DoD spending where Bob McDonnell's Virginia ranks #1 of the fifty states for DoD's largesse, not to mention 900,000 DoD jobs, and Virginia would be in one giant economic shit-hole, courtesy of I'll do any spending I want without raising taxes Governors Allen and Gilmore.

Yes - they deserve credit for taking the evil stimulus money to plug the gaping holes in their state budgets which kept cops on the beat and teachers in the classroom. Bravo you titans of industry. (golf clap)

It's not the stupidest thing McDonnell has ever said, nor is it the most untruthful, but, it's right up there in the "taking undeserved credit" department.

It's what Repugs do.
