Golly, it's almost as if people have a grasp on this

That David Gregory and his seven-figure salarydo not.  As reported yesterday:

Two out of three Americans are dissatisfied with the way income and wealth are currently distributed in the U.S. This includes three-fourths of Democrats and 54% of Republicans.

I wonder what possible evidence could support these opinions?

The combined wealth of the world's richest 85 people is now equivalent to that owned by half of the world's population – or 3.5 billion of the poorest people – according to a new report from Oxfam.
Oh people and their accurate presumptions -- nobody can outsmart the common wisdom of the beltway! [cross-posted at Firedoglake]

"How about the way income and wealth are distributed in the U.S.?"

My teabagger coworkers would answer that they're very dissatisfied with all the redistribution of wealth into welfare checks, unemployment benefits and food stamps. Two diametrically opposed perspectives, with the same answer to a poorly thought out question.

Just another reason why you can't trust Gallup to find their butt with a wad of Charmin.
