Keeping those priorities straight

The prolonged civil-war in Sudan has killed tens of thousands and been the source of surely valid claims of genocide.

Nevertheless, both sides have reached a consensus -- oh not that they'll stop killing each other, that's clearly too much to ask for -- rather, one that Dick Cheney could love with all his donated heart.
Sudan and South Sudan have agreed to consider setting up a joint force to protect vital oilfields during the ongoing crisis in the South, Sudan's foreign minister has said.
Well thank goodness they are considering that as a start, I mean at least they can still shoot at each other in so many other places than oil-fields. Like schools and hospitals and other lesser places.

Our former vice-president would be much happier if it was Shell or Exxon rather than China National Petroleum.
