Add another one to the Mitt Romney awkward phrases catalog...
Chiding Gingrich for spending decades in Washington as a political “insider,” Romney insisted that he’s the “perfect example of why we need to send to Washington someone who has not lived in Washington, but someone who has lived in the real streets of America.”
Y'know the "real streets of America" (see Mitt use that street cred here) from within the gated community (that's a picture of his compound...well one of them).

True, if by "real streets," Mittens means Wall Street, Park Avenue and Rodeo Drive. Man of the People!!

Well, fuck, come right down to it, I wouldn't want the Mittster for a next-door neighbor.

But, how long can he keep up this plaid shirt/blue jeans facade of American Everyman when his entire life has been one of extraordinary privilege and well-tended luxury, largely funded on the backs of working people?

Just guessing, but the only reason this fraud hasn't been drawn and quartered yet is because the only people who can afford horses these days are his wealthy friends....
