Cliche du Jour

Politicians on the Gengis Khan side of the spectrum are trotting out their favorite sound bites and well-worn aphorisms they hold like a talisman warding off evil spirits. My favorite is "cut and run". As in, if we leave now, while the body count is only a 10 or 20 a day, while the shambles of a democratic government we have bequeathed them still breathes, as if $300 billion dollars, nearly 3000 souls, tens of thousands maimed, and tens upon tens of thousands of families directly impacted is not enough to prove our courage as a nation. Yeah, I guess the one way to describe those that advocate getting out now is: coward.

After "cut and run" (and "not until it is finished", "stay the course", blah, blah, blah), what's next?

You're all nuthin' but yeller-bellies!
