Allocation of Resources

Boy, it's tough for the GOP to be underhanded in too many elections at the same time. Having to spend so many of their resources in this country on Race-baiting ads, hacking voting machines, robocalls, and other voter suppression gambits, they have been unable to engage in such schemes in other nations.

And damned if the man Assrocket would claim is the blood-brother of Commandante Kos isn't poised for a comeback:

Daniel Ortega, the Marxist guerrilla who battled U.S. efforts to overthrow him in the 1980s, held a strong lead over his closest rival in early returns Monday from Nicaragua's presidential election.

The leftist Sandanista leader had about 41 percent of the vote with about 7 percent of polling stations counted, while Harvard-educated banker Eduardo Montealegre had 33 percent.

Three other candidates — Sandinista dissident Edmundo Jarquin, ruling party candidate Jose Rizo and former Contra rebel Eden Pastora — were trailing even further behind.

To win, Ortega needs just 35 percent of the vote and a five-point advantage over his closest opponent.

At the Reagan library it was reported that the Presidential Rotisserie has accelerated exponentially (assist with the grave turning).
