Eye-Ran

Who will have the courage to begin the hearings? When will the drumbeat against the next war begin? That the Bush administration is absolutely itching to start another war is no shock, that those of us beating the drums of opposition the last several years could say we saw it coming is no surprise. There is only one surprise I am looking for: that the Democratic leaders in the House and Senate begin meaningful hearings on the Iraq war, on violations of the constitution (wiretapping and habeas corpus) and most of all into the intentions on going to war against Iran.

Unfortunately they haven't earned my trust yet so I'm not hopeful.
