Since it was a common assertion that eventually the "Sub-Prime" lending madness would lead to disaster, please inquire as to the following:

1. How often was this likelihood discussed in the White House or Bush Treasury Department?

2. Did they, as so often, just believe that GOD wouldn't allow such a bad thing to befall 'Murica?

3. Or, as they have also often done, did they just think this likelihood would befall a subsequent, quite possibly Democratic Administration, and it would be their problem?

It's not like there isn't reason to suspect such a thing.
