Before noon, Atta J. Turk and I headed over to see Cap'n Ron and his not-so-hardy mates. We noticed several interesting things about the Cap'n's peeps. They tend to be older, middle, and younger.
Yup, some of them are wearing the Reagan uniform of the 1980s -- red ties, white shirts, khakis, and brown shoes. But some of them have flock of seagulls type hair, wore mostly black, and had that faint look of rebellion (or at least the prepackaged form of rebellion sold at the local thrift store). Several folks brought their children with them as well. It was a strange menagerie of politicos and bored disinterested others who were forced to attend this event.
Some of these people should be over at a Kuccinich rally we thought. Some should be over with the D.A. Fred and his more conservative than thou crowd. Yet, perhaps this speaks to the odd freakish charisma of Cap'n Ron? Or maybe it speaks to the wide spread of the nut-ball right-wing? Or was it the free box lunches with Cheetos. Score!
A Monkey & a Bear?
I was wondering what Horatio Sanz was up to.
