On top of all their other "projection" faults the hilarious cluelessness of some Right-Wingers is hilarious.
First, it started with rock songs that cultural moron John Miller thought the best "conservative rock song" of all time.
"Won't Get Fooled Again", which, as great as it is, if nothing else is an anthem to disillusionment, anarchy and most of all cynicism. (And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song/The parting on the left is now parting on the right/And the world looks just the same And history aint changed). Though I'm still shocked Miller completely ignored the ultimate conservative anthem of the last 20 years all told, "I touch myself" by the Divinyls.
Well, now the No. 1 "Conservative" movie of all time -- get ready to piss of Res -- "The Lives of Others".
Yes, the same people that LOVED the fact that the Bush Administration wiretapped Americans and covered it up (and see previous paragraph re: cynicism) and deny that a right to privacy exists in the Bill of Rights are now praising a movie that discusses the corrosive evils of a state that violates privacy.
