Death Panel 3000

I was wondering about a allusion Atrios made in a post about Krauthammer:

I remember Chucky Krauthammer's great 'moral' policy prescription from the Schiavo case which was that as long as someone somewhere is willing to pay to keep you alive, then the feeding tube should stay in. Otherwise, well, Texas futile care law death panel for you!

And, by golly, here it is:

There is no good outcome to this case. Except perhaps if Florida and the other states were to amend their laws and resolve conflicts among loved ones differently -- by granting authority not necessarily to the spouse but to whatever first-degree relative (even if in the minority) chooses life and is committed to support it. Call it Terri's law.

What utter bullshit. And now the "Death Panel" meme gets tossed out by America's (or just Alaska's if Todd has his way) dumbest politician -- who doesn't get called out by other Republicans because they're too terrified of offending her moronic followers because they are capable of five things: eating, shitting, breathing, fucking, and showing up on Caucus/Primary day.

But then again, Chuckles Krauthammer's biggest joy in life would be to sit on a 'Death Panel' and pass terminal judgment on Iran.
