Don Blankenship just harrumphed himseld into a stupor

These Hungarians don't understand the free market:

The owners of the metals plant whose reservoir burst, flooding several towns in western Hungary with caustic red sludge, have expressed their condolences to the families of the seven people killed, as well as to those injured. They say they are sorry for not having done so sooner.

MAL Rt., which owns the alumina plant in Ajka, also said it was willing to pay compensation "in proportion to its responsibility" for the damage caused by the deluge.

And those folks were so close to becoming just like Republicans. The secret is to not only cause the disaster, but refuse to take responsibility and not apologize after.

Time for a musical interlude as another great river is turned into a sewer of industrial waste.

The real secret is to buy out the political process. Then you can have all the fun you want.

Odd sentence. Are they sorry for the damage because of their negligence, or sorry for simply not apologizing sooner?

I asked the same question, Anonymous. I guess it shows that non-denial denials and obfuscation thrive in all languages.

And I note a report this morning that the head of the company responsible has been taken into police custody. Obviously following the lead of that evil socialist Obama, who immediately imprisoned the CEO of BP and the head of Massey Coal, and .... Oh, wait, never mind.

Sorry that they got caught. Sorry that the hippies might hold them accountable. Sorry that they've had to give up some spa time. The sorry list is long.
