Sane still leads crazy not quite 3 to 1

In things that don't really matter, crazy still gets to hoard gold and write the GOP platform.

An estimated 215,000 people attended a rally organized by Comedy Central talk show hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert Saturday in Washington, according to a crowd estimate commissioned by CBS News.

The company AirPhotosLive.com based the attendance at the "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear" on aerial pictures it took over the rally, which took place on the Mall in Washington. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 10 percent.

CBS News also commissioned AirPhotosLive.com to do a crowd estimate of Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally in August. That rally was estimated to have attracted 87,000 people. Amid criticism from conservatives that the estimate was low, CBS News detailed the methodology behind it here.

Does the methodology account for oxygen tents and personal scooters?

What the aerial view doesn't show is the amount of people on the side streets who were blocked from coming in by the crowds and metal fencing, and the number of people who gave up as they weren't enough screens and speakers to see/hear it.

There were tremendously long lines at the metro and packed subway cars even an hour and a half into the rally.

You don't compromise with a crazy wielding a bloody butcher knife. Nice try, guys, but those who want to destroy our government and sell out our nation to enrich themselves and promote bigotry are adversaries of mine and enemies of my country.

Crowds aside, the rally for sanity was so much more enjoyable than beck & co braying and preying.

There's the problem, using fancy-pants college-boy librul words like 'methodology'. Crowd estimates for rightard rallies are unquestionable divine decrees from Jeebus, so take your 'science' and shutupshutupshutup
