On the day we discovered how
the other hundredth live...
A judge has ruled that Robert H. Richards IV, an heir to the du Pont fortune, should not face jail time after raping his three-year-old daughter. The reason Judge Jan Jurden gave for sentencing Richards to probation was that he “would not fare well in prison.”
Not that
it's a trend or anything.
And let us compare our sympathies for how the rich are just like you...only better...with this.
Homeless people experienced a 23 percent surge in targeted attacks last year as compared to the number of assaults in 2012, according to preliminary figures released by the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH).
But in America, the fact you may not fare well without money or mental health care can never be considered.
Pity the rich pederast.
