That Paul Wolfowitz, the man who scandalously ginned up and then fucked up a war gets his comeuppance for the classic scandal of helping out his "money-honey" with more money.
Plus there are the added Craig Crawfordesque giggles inspired by the fact that the job of his love-interest/comb-sucker at the World Bank was titled "Senior Gender Coordinator".
Whatever his motivations, I'm guessing that Wolfowitz, true to form, substantially underestimated the cost of this plan.
Getting kids killed (both foreign and domestic) at a cost of $500 billion plus isn't the thing that gets you, it's being a petty, small-time crook.
Tells you a lot you don't want to believe.
