We all know that websites, wikis, listervs, email, chatting, and more only encourage the best of character. Yeah, I am chuckling right now too.
Now its time to list your enemies. Or set aside Friendster and go to Snubster instead. Aw, the Internet it just brings out the best qualities in humanity, eh? Maybe the larger question is if we want to legitimize what becomes an advertised hate list - isn't that what an enemies list is all about? Didn't most of us outgrow this when we left elementary school? Immaturity calling, check.
What are the legal implications if someone truly hates someone on a website and then is accused of acting on those angry feelings? Hmm... Should the website be taken seriously? And should the educational system use this as a way to pre-empt problems that could occur on campus? Do we even want to go there?
Maybe the Rethuglicans can use something like this? It will go so well with their brown shirts. Maybe Peggy Noonan can get behind this...
