I can just see him advising FDR

There's no story in which Mitch McConnell fails to choose the thing that is most inappropriate.

“My thought about it is, we ought not to make American and domestic policy based upon an event that happened in Japan,” Mr. McConnell said.

In addition, I'm trying to figure out whether that phrasing indicates that Mitch McConnell thinks "domestic policy" is un-American?

John Galt would, so I guess the answer is yes.

To the new Teapublican party, domestic policy is synonymous with domestic terror.

We live in the WORLD, Miss McConell and that includes all your loved ones, if indeed there any beyond yourself.
