Why can't you be the son of someone famous?

Because that's how it works for Luke Russert!

Cenk Uygur--the progressive online talk show host whose brief tenure as an MSNBC anchor ended on Wednesday--tore into the network in a lengthy monologue on Wednesday night, saying he had turned down a smaller role on MSNBC because he had been told he was too combative towards "those in power."

Uygur's got ingtegrity and real reporting ability. Russert got no dick, no balls, no brains, no nuthin.

obamaphiles despise cenk with a passion. they're probably celebrating that he got pushed out.

What does it have to do with Luke Russert? Perhaps I'm not familiar enough with MSNBC.

I think Cenk is generally pretty excellent: good for him not to play nice.

can't have a fire-breathing democrat. that would be almost fair.

Nobody ever told him, you're not allowed to be aggressive on TV unless you're a right-wing bullying asshole on Fox kissing up to the wealthy and powerful.

meh, couldn't watch Cenk... also can't watch Ed or Tweety... all blowhards that don't let anyone -- even those that share their general point of view -- get a word in edgewise... don't see the need to go "limbaugh" ... Rachel has the most watchable, informative show on the air... what we need are more folks that can do what she does.

great to see fire and passion for the right reasons. just because it's the right thing to do.

odd how that pisses off so many.

That picture should be in the dictionary next to the entry for 'douchebag'.
Meritocracy, my ass.
