According to the Washington Post, the House GOP leadership played a short clip from the Ben Affleck movie “The Town” to rally their caucus around Boehner’s debt plan:
Ben Affleck: I need your help. I can’t tell you what it is. You can never ask me about it later. And we’re going to hurt some people.
Jeremy Renner: Whose car are we going to take?
In the movie, the characters then put on hockey masks and bludgeon two men with sticks, then shoot one man in the leg.
I'm just relieved they didn't show Joe Pesci highlights from Casino they may have started masturbating right there.

According to the Washington Post, Rep. Allen West (R-FL) replied “I’m ready to drive the car.”
I'll bet he's just itching to be the one to shoot granny in the leg too.
When I read this kind of stuff I always assume that if I follow enough links that I'll get to The Onion or Mad Magazine. Sadly, not.
Proof positive that the GOP is not a political party, but rather an organized crime family.
I'm surprised 'Red Dawn' didn't make an appearance.
