Hope you feel good about yourselves:
Marvin Wilson, 54, was pronounced dead at 6:27 p.m., 14 minutes after his lethal injection
began at the state prison in Huntsville. Wilson's attorneys had argued
that he should have been ineligible for capital punishment because of
his low IQ.
In their appeal to
the high court, his attorneys pointed to a psychological test conducted
in 2004 that pegged Wilson's IQ at 61, below the generally accepted
minimum competency standard of 70
You would think Rick Perry would at least be interested in self-preservation.

Ah, well, Perry has to beat George W. Bush's record for executions per month, because that's about the only record he can beat.
He's Texas' #1 asshole and he aims to keep that title.
I don't support executing convicted murderers for many reasons- getting it wrong and killing an innocent person being among the top reasons along with the sheer barbarity of it and the enormous financial cost compared to life imprisonment. But this "child-like man" "abducted and killed" somebody he had an argument with.
who can't they kill in texass?
