The Al Gore is Fat Act falls short

Dumbest piece of legislation this term (and that's pretty dumb obviously) falls a little short.

Tea Party conservatives fell far short of the two-thirds majority required to pass Rep. Joe Barton’s (R-TX) BULB Act, which would have revoked lighting efficiency standards that are already reducing pollution, creating jobs, and spurring technological innovation.

I understand Al Gore also uses such innovations as "the zipper" and "pants" so perhaps the Teaparty will take up banning them for that reason next?

What next?

"Tea Party Accuses Obama and Liberals of Bringing Buggy-Whip Industry to its Knees. Demand Legislation to Ban Motorized Vehicles"

that will never happen Jimmiraybob, they depend on their Hoverounds too much... plus, there's at least a small majority of them that like their ford pickups and do realize they are motorized vehicles as well...
