Shit waiting to Blow up

The United States forced military conscription service and the coalition of da willin' "allies" (or is that you give us much money and we send a few soldiers to get shot at) keep turning to that employment boom known as private contractors (read: private companies) to fill a few thousand jobs that were once performed only by the quintessential bureaucrat or do I mean soldiers? We all know how well those freelance prison interrogators turned out. Lovely, lovely.

So leave it to Mother Jones writer Barry Yeoman to report on how under pressure to fill jobs quickly many of these companies have recruited former police officers and soldiers who engaged in human rights violations in such places as South Africa, Chile, and the former Yugoslavia.

Man, am I alone in thinking that shit has already hit the fan? Or is it worse?
