Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowrey's eulogy was a real thing of beauty and one richly deserved (check out crooksandliars if you haven't seen it). It got me thinking about the petulant one's legacy compared to the other ex-presidents who shared the stage with him. Even his father's legacy as a WWII fighter pilot, a member of "the greatest generation", will earn him some favor one day when he is eulogized. Carter and Clinton both have legacies of which they can be proud and Clinton has years more to do good work.
What about King George? Will his bullhorn moment be enough? I don't think so, but at least 43 will have some real rich people singing his praises and maybe a few Saudi princes. Kenny boy and Brownie. Rove and Abramoff. Delay and Frist. MCcain and Lieberman. Just think.
