Trustfactoring

Does this finally mean that no one trusts Bush?

WASHINGTON - Congress sent a loud message to the Bush administration this week that it will not tolerate any information being given to the Mexican government regarding the whereabouts of the Minutemen or other civilian border patrols.

An amendment to the annual Homeland Security Department funding bill now headed to the Senate blocks any taxpayer money from going to provide "a foreign government information relating to the activities of an organized civilian volunteer group."

That seems to me to be a pretty clear message about what Bush would probably call "Trustfactoring." Because with high placed officials (Cheney, Rove, Libby and others) breaking the law, leaking sensitive and classified information to newspapers for political sport, his mess of an administation probably suffers from a wee bit of a credability, reliability, and just plan trust problem.

Could this be that Congress has finally awoken to the liability to the American people that this misadministration has been for several years?

I guess, we can all hope so.
