ISG Media Moments [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
The one bright spot of this week for me was when, about this time yesterday, I watched on CSPAN's Washington Journal as Alan Simpson and Leon Panetta looked very unhappy as the host read from our editorial on the report.

Let me guess the source of their displeasure:
1. The grammar;
2. The idiocy;
3. Three the bankrupt policy arguments;
4. The draft dodging;
5. "Is this coming from the 'We're Winning' people?";
6. The grammar.
"It is time to say it unequivocally: We are winning in Iraq."
- Rich "Eligible to Serve" Lowry, April 27, 2005.
You may notice on that now tragically laughable cover, the name Mark Steyn, TBogg takes notice of his most recent appearance and proposes an adequate way of resolving Steyn's complaints:
According to neo-hobbit Mark Steyn, the press is doing a piss-poor job reporting on the war because they are "hunkered down" in the Green Zone and so are not getting out the good news that "schools are open, hospitals are open" (hospitals that are overflowing, I might add) throughout Iraq. (Watch the video)
Perhaps Fox News would be willing to send Mr. Steyn to Iraq where he could live outside the Green Zone and report on all of the good stuff that is happening there. They could call it 24 Hours. Three hours of running and twenty-one to track down all the body parts....
