In the nine and a half years since 9/11 we have dishonored the victims over and over again. Killing some boys out collecting firewood is just the latest example. Remember those "Power of Pride" bumper stickers that appeared after we were attacked? Pride is powerful because it is a sin.

There are those who suffered loss on 9/11 who feel strongly that endless war is far from, as you say, "honoring the memory of the victims." Such overwhelming pain and suffering have been done in their names, that the honor has long ceased to be a factor.
