The source of Adelson’s huge campaign contributions would appear to
create a conflict with Romney’s Mormon convictions. The official website
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints states: “The Church opposes gambling in any form, including government-sponsored lotteries.”

To paraphrase Goldwater, I suppose hypocrisy in service of money and ambition is to them no vice.
You may be able to keep a Mormon off the firewater, but gambling is right up there with porn as one of their secret sins.
