As I heard tonight, that aid goes indirectly to our defense contractors. Basically the money goes into an American bank account from which Egypt draws to pay our defense contractors for the goods they send to Egypt. If we stopped it, it would be a job killer at home. This process just seems to perpetuate this kind of aid to our "friends".
