Justice Follies

Hi there. Dirk D. DeDurkheim, book reader here. There's a new book out of great satirical stories by Rob Johnson called Justice Follies: Parody from Planet Prison.

It's a humorous but quite thoughtful take on prisons, media the death penalty... you know all those light topics. It may be good as a supplement to all of the tough on crime commercials that politicians are going to start airing all too soon on a Television set near you.

For example, in Mr Roger's Prison, there's an interesting discussion from fishing about catch and release, which gets inmates talking about how the CJ system mostly captures the weak and powerless. Barbie joins an execution, and Whheel of Torture is a good take on the corporate media. And its kinda funny. In a dark twisted way and isn't that what we all need right now?
