Good points of the Olympics Opening Ceremony

Second best: Peter Gabriel singing "Imagine", especially after it appeared for a moment that Yoko Ono was going to sing "Imagine". It was great by itself, but the palpable sense of relief made it even greater.

Best: I know it's sort of the "Freebird" of arias, but dammit, I could listen to Pavorotti sing "Nessun Dorma" for freakin' ever. I suppose it makes me an opera philistine, but there just isn't a more beautiful song when it is done well.
