Papa Bush was there, while his wife was off earning speaking fees talking down to an industrial convention, "We spent so much on tents from you people, harrumph!". Now, he chooses to complain several days later:
"In terms of the political shots at the president who was sitting there with his wife, I didn't like it and I thought it was kind of ugly frankly," the former president said in an exclusive radio interview with CBS News White House correspondent Peter Maer.
"Anybody that shoots at the president of the United States at a funeral, I just didn't appreciate that," Mr. Bush added.
You know what is ugly?
2,267 dead American Soldiers
17,500 wounded American Soldiers
40,000 psychologically fucked up American Soldiers
100,000 plus dead Iraqis
Billions in cuts to the poor, to offset your boys murderous and foolish war
300 Billion plus for this war
440 Billion as a projected deficit
This would seem a good time for Tim Russert to ask Papa Bush why Ann Coulter, who constantly jokes about assassinations continually gets invited to speak at Republican Party events. Because that's ugly through and through.
