Apparently you can fool almost half the people half the time

How anybody can actually believe anything that the Bush Administration says about the possibility of military action -- especially preemptive military action (you know those things that are considered beneath "civilized" nations) is beyond me. But some of the elements are still out there:

A poll conducted by the Los Angeles Times and Bloomberg reveals that 48% of Americans would back military action against Iran if the government continues pursuing nuclear technology, RAW STORY has found.

I'm sorry that is devastatingly depressing.

At the same time there is a glimmer of hope in a contradictory fashion:

However, a majority (54%) of the poll's respondents indicated that they don't believe President Bush will make the "right decision."

We have work to do to stop these people.
