Skid Marks on the American Concept of Justice

Many have written about Gitmo ad nauseum, most recently Digby here, who always says it perfectly but I thought I would chime in with this: the FBI website that has details of the report just released. There is simply no way to overstate the significance of this, or in my humble opinion, how damaging the whole affair (Gitmo, renditions, Abu Ghraib)is to the foundations of our republic. I'm not sanguine about the prospects of gaining our equilibrium on this one.
