The Cohen-to-wanker ratio is high

Both the Washington Post and the New York Times have one.

Roger Cohen comes through with a beaut today:

Unless you believe the United States can simply withdraw from the world, a popular but naïve view, that essential strategic question needs addressing beyond the Iraq tactics before Congress this week. An answer is the minimum the now overstretched shopping nation owes the long overstretched fighting nation it seldom notices.

Boy, I sure wish, short of Ron Paul, I knew which political candidate is pushing for isolationism?

What has been opposed is unilateralism in favor of international cooperation.

So "internationalism" has become "isolationism".

No wonder the GOP has managed to win with candidates with demigod levels of putziness.
