Low threshold

I guess my dog and her three and two-legged walk is telling me after 11 plus years, it is time to buy some dog-booties.

Age before beauty. Poor thing, but she sure plays her suffering to the hilt.

Our dog hates snow and walks on it like it's razor blades. Then she pees on the sidewalk.

Mister AngreePee is almost 11. He's old and grumpy, his joints hurt, he has trouble getting his butt out of bed. Kind of like me, I guess. He has no trouble with the snow, though. I couldn't get him inside once he was let out.

Li'lMissApplausePee could use the booties, as well as a sweater. She'll do her business and retreat to the gazebo like the snow was burning her toes.

They both love a good towel-down afterward.

I'm hoping their pee doesn't freeze until it hits the ground tomorrow morning.

Could be salt, too. That shit burns.

Look for the booties that look like little foot-balloons. They don't last forever, but they feel a little less alien to the dog because the dog can feel the ground through them.

Also, there are dog booties at the end of this post: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/11/dogs-dont-understand-basic-concepts.html

Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.
