As it turns out, it was a big last f*ck you from Blanche Lincoln. Manchin promised he wouldn't be the one to send it down the tubes, but since Lincoln (R-WalMart) didn't show, he didn't have to bite the bullet.
Hope she chokes on her health care payoff -- it's gonna be a big one.
