One Year

Don't you hate self-referencing, or congratulatory bullshit?

Do you hate it more when somebody asks you that question and then engages in self-referencing and congratulatory bullshit?

Well, one year ago today, Attaturk wrote his first post.

Shortly thereafter he wrote his first piece of pure snark.

Not long thereafter it was the first lame so-called "look at me go off on a tangent" comedy piece.

There have been other lame milestones...more than 3000 posts, many of which have not been blogwhored.

And of course, doing the blog has been made much easier by the fact that my friends Dick D. DeDurkheim and Justin Champollion have also blogged the "Prelude to the Rapture" with me.

And most of all thanks to all of our readers, especially the commenters, that have made this blog, if not a community, at least a comfortable little village where we can express our thoughts and attempt to be interesting.
