This seems rather dubious

People do occasionally have similar ideas at the same time. About a year or more ago I called somebody out on my blog over some similar post they had to one I had done a year earlier. But to be honest I can't remember what it was anymore -- so it's likely I'll end up plagiarizing myself soon and frankly any good idea I've ever had seems to unlikely to be so unique only I could have thought of it.

Nevertheless, the timing on the idea one blogger, MediaBloodhound had for Ann Coulter "mad libs" and the fact that Joel Stein of the L.A. Times claimes to have had the same idea two weeks later is suspicious. Skippy has more.
