Well it finally happened...

I took notice of something Robert Samuelson wrote.

That makes 1 person out of 300 million. Wooo-hooo!

And what a brilliant and completely esoteric point he makes...recessions make life better...for Robert Samuelson:

Recessions also have often-overlooked benefits. They dampen inflation. In weak markets, companies can't easily raise prices or workers' wages.

As long as it hurts the proverbial little guy (the little guy who really hasn't had an economic moment of improvement in more than a decade) it's a-okay with Robert Samuelson. After all he's held a lucrative column writing job for many years...and hardly anyone even knows he has a column. So you can see how he is immune from ever suffering any kind of setback.
