Lovely

The McCain campaign hired Tucker Askew, one of those lovely folks that in 2000 dragged McCain through the mud about his "illegitimate black daughter" in one of the great execrable moments of American politics...because John McCain puts country first.

Askew's job is to prepare Sarah Palin Tall (fez tip Watertiger) for her next round of public exposure.

And Tucker, as ever, delivers what he's paid for:

“We are going to flush the toilet,” said Tucker Eskew, who is a senior adviser to Ms. Palin, describing the campaign’s plans for Labor Day, when much of the nation was busy with family and social activities.
