Yeah, he's a strong Republican contender alright

In addition to obtaining a "gentlemen's C" in American History and failing or barely passing any course dealing in science, Rick Perry proves once again, no Republican Governor from Texas can be too dumb to be strong candidate for the Party's Presidential Nomination.

Molly Ivins has already said it: "The next time I tell you someone from Texas should not be president of the United States, please, pay attention."

I don't think there's any question that Ivins, who suggested that Perry's only attribute was his hair, would be saying, "please, pay attention" were she alive today.

if you can, please help :

The World Food Programme said it is reaching 1.5 million people in Somalia now, and is scaling up to reach 2.2 million more in the previously inaccessible south of the country. It says airlifts to Mogadishu will start within a few days to bring in special nutritious foods for malnourished children.
