NPR radio hosts have to step down if there spouses are involved in politics...but this rule does not apply to unimportant government roles, like that of a Supreme Court Justice,

And yet Mara Liasson can work for Fox News and be on NPR. Fox News management has an obvious political agenda to get Republicans elected to office at all levels. Mara Liasson participates in this enterprise and personally profits from it, and she somehow gets to keep her job. I think it's appropriate for NPR to ask Michele Norris to step aside for reasons of journalistic integrity, however I'm not sure what integrity NPR is hoping to save at this point.
