Am I supposed to be shocked?

We live in a world where David Broder demands decisions, even stupid, disastrous, wrong decisions AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Naturally, this sort of thing among Republicans is just fine:

Elsewhere in this volume, she talks about creationism, saying she “didn’t believe in the theory that human beings — thinking, loving beings — originated from fish that sprouted legs and crawled out of the sea” or from “monkeys who eventually swung down from the trees.”

Of course she doesn't, by 2012 not one Republican candidate will admit any other belief.

Stupidity, it's Republican for "hello".
